The Local 305 Contract Attack Team (CAT) convened at the Local Office in Richmond, VA on September 13-14, 2023

Our MHU Local 305 delegates attended the National Convention in Denver, Colorado on August 7-12, 2022.

The National Postal Mail Handler Union Local 305 is pleased to offer the opportunity for dependents of regular craft employees, to apply for scholarship assistance from NPMHU Local 305 Scholarship Program. 

This scholarship program has been providing assistance to deserving recipients since 1988.  The 2022 NPMHU Scholarship requirements are detailed in the application.

VEBA claim payments has increased from $200.00 per week with a maximum of $2,000 per year to $400.00 per week with a maximum of $4,000 per year.

The meetings that took place were the LMOU Training, Council Meeting, Hydrogen Fuel System and the Fellowship at Outback.

Supplemental Employee Benefits

For the very first time in the Local 305’s history, we are offering our members Supplemental Employee Benefits.  This Supplemental Employee Benefits is for members only. 

Our members will now have the opportunity to purchase:  Life, accidental and/or disability insurances.  Premiums can be paid through payroll deduction via PostalEASE.  Each member will automatically receive a $5,000 Complimentary Accidental Death and Dismemberment Policy through Colonial Life Insurance, just for being a member of Local 305. 

MHU Local 305 officers were installed on April 15th, 2016.
